Kagari is a child who can’t quite fit into society. Kagami is the robot who goes to school and lives in town in Kagari’s place. One day, a clerical error at city hall registers the robot Kagami as “the real Kagari”.
Which of them is the real one? An examination will decide. The deadline is 14 days, and whoever lives more “like Kagari” will be registered as real. And yet the two of them, far from fighting over the title, keep trying to hand it to each other.
This is not a story of humans versus robots. It’s the story of 14 days between two people who care for each other — with you gently watching over them.
Going outside is hard, so the days pass at home, while a stand-in robot handles life in society. But when "the real one" is put under examination — what will Kagari feel?
